Stores
How can I order a product that is not carried in the ABC stores?
All products can be ordered as a special order at any of our store locations in the state. All special orders must be ordered by the case. The store personnel will take the order and forward it on to the purchasing department. The merchandise will then be ordered from the supplier. Upon arrival the product will be shipped to the store. The store will notify the customer that their order is in and ready for pickup.
Is there any way to purchase wine that is not available in Alabama directly from a winery for personal use?

The wine shall be ordered and paid for by the purchaser--including prepaid freight charges. A copy of the authorization form should be shipped along with the wine. Employment
How do I obtain employment with the ABC Board?

The State of Alabama Personnel Department manages the recruitment and testing process for all merit system jobs used by the ABC Board. To be considered for employment, you must first submit an application for a classification used by the ABC Board (e.g., ABC Sales Associate, ABC Enforcement Agent) to the State Personnel Department. The most effective method is to visit the State Personnel Department website, and create a job profile under the “My Profile” section. Once you have filled in all of the required information and created a user account, you will be sent an e-mail. Click on the link in the e-mail to activate your account and sign in. Finish creating your profile and then apply for the job(s) in which you are interested.

The State Personnel Department will administer an exam and place you on a hiring register to be used by employing agencies. When the ABC Board has a need to hire someone for a position, the State Personnel Department will provide a list of eligible candidates that is made up of the top ten (10) names on the hiring register, plus ties. If you score in the top ten (10), your name will appear on the list of eligible candidates and you can be considered for employment. Any score outside the top ten (10) cannot be considered for employment.
